Straw Bale Gardens - Free Seminar & Book Signing
Wednesday, March 26 - 7:00pm
Please join Otten Bros. as we feature the hottest trend in gardening for those who want to 'grow your own', Straw Bale Gardens!
Author Joel Karsten will be giving a talk on his non-traditional method of gardening using straw bales. This fun style of gardening is great for the novice and the expert gardener. Gardening with straw bales allows you to have a garden without the labor involved in creating a traditional garden; including no soil prep and no weeding! You can even grow a garden on asphalt or concrete using this method. Joel will also be signing his book after his seminar.
Straw bale gardening is an easy and inexpensive way to grow a large amount of fresh produce in a small amount of space for you and your family. Joel's book and all the 'ingredients' needed to create your own straw bale garden are available at Otten Bros. today!
Joel has been featured in the New York Times, locally on Kare11 and speaks throughout the country on his book.
Author Joel Karsten (Roseville, MN) has a B.S. in Horticulture from the University of Minnesota, where he was recruited to play football by legendary coach Lou Holtz. He was raised on a tree farm, where he learned the secrets to successful gardening from his grandmother Josephine. In addition to giving demonstrations and lecturing on the many benefits of his unique straw bale gardening technique, he is an inventor and entrepreneur with boundless enthusiasm for better solutions.
Please RSVP to Otten Bros. if you wish to attend this FREE seminar and book signing. 952-473-5425
